Last winter we used it because it rained so much but it was warm. This year it's cold and dry. Save for that 10 days period after we got a moderate snow on 12/20. Then the walks were treacherous. On one my wife went down but was ok. About a mild later she realized she didn't have her phone. We used "find my phone" to locate it in the snow.
