Yea. Better than not having it, sure, but that’s a 1/100yr event as shown and it’s so touchy at h5 and very time based which makes it even more precarious.

Well to be honest we had a decade and a half of these working out for us….you just didn’t live here then.  Of late, not so much, but maybe we’re due.  Long way to go whatever happens.

Fun solution, but yeah still weenie fodder at this range. We get a couple of shortwaves that phase into the Baja system in succession and it’ll be awhile until we model those details correctly.

Yes he picked a temp chart that looks worse than it actually is. There would definitely be risk of some mixing in the coastal plain but that’s not unusual. 925 and 850 are still pretty cold as well.
