Anytime you see BN temps in NYC/NJ and AN in NNE in January, that is not a rain threat here.

It’s one of those situations around here where I think for most even some accumulating LES streamer or NS clipper that pops and produces a light event would revive some hope for the season and satiate snow starved weenies until the useless block relaxes some.

At the risk of being admonished for not being positive enough, I’m kidding, for the record.

We just need to get as many swings as possible. If we completely whiff, which I still doubt we will, it is what it is. By whiff I mean no region wide warning level event.

I x’d you out…but I’ll take it back.  You know that’s not a warm wet look here.  So I’ll take it back.

This is what we're left with.  Littered with crushed beer cans, weekly flyers, and an old lady's tattered leather glove.

On the plus side, you can keep an unheated pool above 65f all the way to Labor Day

Lol…that’s funny, maybe last year, but if it ain’t frozen already, it will be soon.

Sorry I didn't mean through the winter too.  I just meant through the summer.  Our nights here get too cold by mid-
August and the sun goes behind the trees by 2 or so by that point too.  The pool just can't keep warm enough for us to use much. (Above -ground Intex pool)

No worries, had I been going for a joke about the picture it would have been something along the lines of that on the plus side, the dirty snow piles have a lower needle content that the piles in the Burlington City Market parking lot.

Lol what exactly is coming that we need to hang tough for?

Do you really feel we’re gonna go through this whole pattern, and what ever it morphs into by 13-15 days from now, with zero snow?  I don’t.  Not saying anything epic of course, but I think some decent snow is coming.  So that’s what’s coming imo.
