Perhaps I am mistaken, but I read his post as it's either going to be a large explosive storm or out to sea. The CMC has a very powerful storm however it moves more North East instead of hugging the coast like the GFS and grazes the south coast. Will, is the CMC depiction plausible? It's not going to just slowly come NW by 25-50 miles each run....you'll likely see a whole bunch of members go nuclear if we start seeing the Euro suit phasing the streams better. Much like we're seeing on the GFS suite. 12z suite overall today was definitely a step forward, but we need another one at 00z. I think that's the 30 seconds cliff's notes version. I said that yesterday....there is going to be one suite where it just explodes onto the scene.

40/70 Benchmark
Same crucial difference I illustrated last night....EURO passive N stream keeping everything positively tilted....GFS more aggressive N stream tilting it all more neutral upon phase. These are the two camps. N stream has ran the show all season, but given this crucial point of inflection is now getting within about 4 days, we will want to see the EURO cave quickly, or else its tough to beat. 4
