There’s a lot of posters here that sacrifice hours of sleep and parts of lives staying up until 3:00 AM for op runs . When they can simply go to bed, and see them in the morning.

I will so it sometimes within a few days of a huge event....but yea.

Yeah, but early birds of a feather flock together so it is what is and what should never be.

FWIW-op runs are fully in by 1AM these days.  For those of us not needing to get up early and are night owls, that’s not too late.

I know everyone is wired differently. Some are night owls. Some like me love the morning and getting up looking at the ass crack of dawn in our face. 7-8 hours of sleep means too much to lose sleep over what the 00z suite shows when I can see it and the 6z when I wake up . Folks and strokes

Canadian and Euro suppress the living crap of out it so this is just a move towards that outcome. Still a loooooong way out.

I’ve been a night owl my entire life.  So in my 60 hours/week working days I got at best 6 hours-usually 5-6.  Now I feel so much better with 7-8.  I have some side hustles and have earned enough cred to say-nothing before noon.  The worst is when there’s no choice like a flight.

What is your point? We are all aware of the range and inherent limitations....I didn't see people get called out for this when everyone was massaging one another's genitals after last night's runs...

My point, it’s an Op run at 8 days. Maybe he was goofing around. If so I missed it. That’s all. And I certainly wasn’t massaging any genitals for good or for bad.  We know how these go…ensembles for quite a while yet. Op’s are just entertainment.

Yea, OPs are usless, whether they show March 93-east, or Jan 1985.

GFS run gets the job done in a wonky way (the 1/6 system getting ground up sort of leaves of baroclinic zone nearby so 1/8 amplifies) but that is good example of how this pattern can produce in different ways. The dice are loaded in our favor which gives lots of ways to succeed.

You treat the OP runs as a single ensemble member at this point. The Op run won’t become more important until we’re prob inside of D5/6.

Second time today I strongly agree with you.  The 0z euro will look exactly the same at 6am as it does at 2am.

I posted earlier, but the individual members had various ways to get snow to your point.

I think this is what people are missing.  Finally a great pattern.  Too soon to tell what will happen but I bet strongly on a major east coast storm soon.

That longwave pattern is so dominant that it really wants to spawn something near the coast. I think we just need to avoid super blocks bullying their way too far south…which would be my biggest “concern” at the moment.

Yea. Bully blocks are real and then eventually we’ll have to fight our way through a couple scooter shit streaks.

That's why after the storm is done the board is dead after 7pm, everyone goes to catch up on the sleep they lost.
