Below is the February 2025 Climate Summary for Chester County PA. February being the 3rd consecutive winter month this season to feature below normal temperatures. This was the first time this has happened since the winter of 2013-14. With an average winter (December through February) temperature of 31.6 degrees this was the 60th coldest winter with records back 132 years to the winter of 1894-95. It was also our coldest winter in 10 years since the winter of 2014-15.image.thumb.png.287e73ed75fe27539064522c0f08c4db.png

6abc 6pm going with start time 2:00 p.m. lasting to 8:00 (W to E)  storms, 45 to 50 mph gust with one half to one inch of rain. To drought guys dismay, certainly doesn't look like a drought buster...

Some much needed heavy rain on the way today. Most of the rain will fall over a 6 hour period between noon and 6pm today. Rainfall amounts should be between 0.75" to 1.25" across much of the area. Mild today before we fall back to near normal for the rest of the week through the weekend.

Pretty crazy that we had 11 separate winter events this year for a total of 13.75". Forget nickel and dime that's a penny winter lol

Someone could have given me a O/U of 27" and I would have taken Over and felt very confident. 11 events, sure we'll get Over 27" w/ease! Yeah, right.

Really can't believe we were measuring some "events" in tenths and the big winner was 1"...really sad and painfully pathetic.

Stuff on our doorstep...
