Chadzachadam Posted yesterday at 02:19 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:19 PM 0.3” here. Would gladly wake up to a new coating of snow every morning. Roads and paths look mostly wet, probably from the residual salt. Honestly wouldn’t mind a little rain to wash all the salt away, everyone uses way too much of it and it hurts the dog’s paws (he has boots but refuses to wear them) and tracks into the house
Kevin Reilly Posted yesterday at 02:27 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:27 PM Sun making an appearance 27f low was 25f Total Snow: 0.30” (What happened to our 30” oh I see GFS needs another lesson on decimal place value must have missed the lesson on last Monday’s snow day) Total Snow Year: 5.18” The pure definition of nickle and dime winter totally normal for this time of year patience ….wait for it wait for it!!! ChescoWx Posted yesterday at 02:48 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:48 PM A slight over performer here in NW Chesco. It snowed from about 145a till around 6am this morning. We received 1.3" of snow. We are now up to 4.6" for January which is 1.9" above normal snowfall. Season to date we are at 7.4" which is only 1.7" below normal through today.
Physicsteve Posted yesterday at 02:57 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:57 PM Roughly 0.5” topcoat near Washington Crossing. Still looks and feels like winter, which was lacking for anything more than 2 consecutive days the last 2 seasons. Cmon big dog, January 15-25 is your time to shine, historically. Nice to see a signal this year but unresolved details will dictate reality.
ChescoWx Posted yesterday at 03:53 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:53 PM Today should be our 8th straight sub-freezing day. We finally warm to above freezing both tomorrow and Monday. We go back below freezing on Monday night and will see highs only in the 20's through Thursday. We should see dry weather through the upcoming work week. RU848789 Posted yesterday at 06:18 PM Share Posted yesterday at 06:18 PM Looks like a general 0.5-1.5" snowfall looking at the NWS accumulation map below, with a few places <0.5" and a few places more than 1.5", including Cape May once again being the NJ winner with 2.2"...so certainly not a whiff and even made it to minor territory (1-2") for many, which is a bit of a surprise. No NWS-NYC reports yet, other than 0.5" at Central Park.

LVblizzard
That’s a very promising looking storm signal in the day 8-12 window. Might be our best chance to see something significant this winter. 2

MGorse
The 0.3 inches of snow I got vanished rapidly by mid-morning. Looks like some of the guidance that was hinting at a bit more snow (1 to near 2 inches) across parts of eastern PA panned out.
