OH shit, have to bring out the leaf blower again for Saturday. I have literally blown more leaves the last week or so than pixie dust snow. The pixie dust has evaporated away already. Refresh with another .05 in of snow is going to bury me on Saturday morning. I might have to break out the broom.

21f... Wind howling at times, pretty brutal out there with the gust.

Yup. Already had to shore up the trashcans from blowing over. Speaking of, we're supposed to bag all of our recyclables, which we do, but our one neighbor down the way does not. So I usually end up with a bunch of empty soda cans and water bottles in my front yard when there's a big blow on trash night.

I've been sorely tempted to bag it all up and dump it back on his lawn, but perhaps age has granted me the wisdom to know that such thoughts are better left enjoyed in my mind, rather than causing unnecessary drama in my cul-de-sac. Or perhaps not. We shall see.

FWIW, it's supposed to be even windier tomorrow somehow. I'm here for it! LOVE this weather (as long as I'm not out working in it!)

Our well below normal temperatures that have started the New Year look likely to continue for the near future. Today will be our 6th straight day with temperatures staying below freezing. We may briefly get a couple of degrees above freezing (but still well below normal) by Saturday through Monday before we turn even colder by Monday night. We have a good chance at some light snow to freshen up the snowpack Friday night till Saturday morning, but most areas will receive less than an inch of the white stuff.

Take pictures, show the guy and tell him to bag his s***. And it is windier today...

Lol awry!!! It has already been heading in the wrong direction. Lol

Today the euro sends it into the lower lakes, the follow up Florida snow too. 12z ECM OP is an utter abomination run of cold&dry with a couple mild&wets and should not be observed for it can turn you into stone like Medusa.

Sooo.... our storms this year have not trended north but rather south LOL.

Soo... maybe one can assume we think back to the days where the storms in the Lakes are just off the coast at the benchmark.  ... and the storms in the Gulf of Alaska at 961 mb are actually sitting east of ACY>..... time will tell.

I hope you all loved my Dream... now back to our regularly scheduled program or maybe not?
