Pensacola NWS raised their warning to 4-6". Think the all time record goes back to the 1800's of 4"

Just realized this is something as crazy as last years snow in Saudi Arabia

I was watching some of live coverage down there.  WSWs all the way up to OBX/VA line.  Just think if there was some blocking out there in the ATL. A site you don't ever really see

Feels like we could legit walk away from model watching for a week. Not much out there

I posted a response to another's concern about  birding. This just happened. A red tail hawk hit my front window and was stunned. This is getting unbelievable. Last night low was -2  here in macungie with almost 8 in of snow on the ground.

Yup and to think just last Friday it looked like this week had the potential to be a blockbuster...instead just another nickle and dimer and cold/dry then who knows. This winter has been such a tease. 6 separate snow events, which is great considering we still have another roughly 6 weeks of winter chances but only 9" total. I feel like I would currently grade winter a B so far just based on the number events and the cold. It's actually felt like winter this year which is a win compared to the last few... If we can get a MECS in Feb or March, this winter would be an A in my book despite being nickle and dimed most of the year.

If it wasn’t for models and radar, I’d be thinking snow was on the way. The sky has that look and feel to it. Congrats Gulf Coast!!

-0.2°F and -4.1°F DP right now. We weren't forecasted to go below zero at all earlier this week, and now it's done it twice. (We briefly hit below zero early last morning.)

Proper cold. Love it. Kind of wondering if the Skook will ice up near me.
