Newman
Visiting the fam back in Fleetwood for Christmas, just went out and measured 1" on the snow board. Was honestly expecting more from the other reports around the region, must be some melting going on. Will go out and measure when it's all done here

Pretty much just cars and north-facing yards covered in the city, but it was really snowy up in the hills in Fairmount park, probably an inch on all the trees and unpaved surfaces. Here in NW Philly everything is covered but the road, maybe 1/2” thanks!

Kevin Reilly
32.4f light snow 0.08" only on the grass very little if anything on paved surfaces: roofs, cars, grass, trees covered. Snowing here since 3:00 pm temps started at 35f but through entire event 32.4f to 33.4f so melting yes. Otherwise, this would be a 2-4" event. I am not complaining at all! Total snowfall for the year 1.0"

I reported just over an hour ago in this thread for where I am in NW Philly up in the hills and had 1" at the time. See below - 2 hours ago, Hurricane Agnes said: Still have SN- to SN and got a measurement of 1" IMBY in NW Philly so far (~8:10 pm). It's wet stuff and there's lots of dripping going on as the temp has been right around freezing. Walks and streets are still wet but cars, grassy areas, and colder surfaces are covered. Currently 32 & dp 32, with light snow and fog. Just went out again and am now up to 1.75" of paste. This stuff is really wet and is plastered all over the trees and shrubs. Lots of dripping going on as well. The walks are still wet but parts of the streets near the pavement started to cave a bit. Currently 32 with dp 31 and SN-.

ChescoWx
It amazes me how many folks on X / twitter seem to think that unless snow accumulates on their driveway or the road it is not accumulated snow!! Snowboards FTW!!!

We got 3/8" in the last hour for an hourly rate of - wait for it - 3/8" per hour, lol. Snowing moderately at 33F and accumulating everywhere except on paved surfaces - nice dendrites, so the snow growth aloft must be nice in the dendritic growth zone. Radar looks good for awhile, so 1-2" is certainly in reach. Let's see how it goes. My wife and I just went for a very nice walk outside - it's just gorgeous out there! And another 3/8" this past hour giving up 3/4" so far. Should definitely make my 1.25" prediction and will hopefully get to 2" if the models are correct. Light to moderate snow continues at 33F, just warm enough to have minimal accumulations on paved surfaces, but it's forecast to drop to 32F by midnight for most of CNJ, with some more snow to come, so secondary/untreated roads and sidewalks/driveways could get slippery.
Kevin Reilly
Now clearly at 1.2" but only on the grass still snowing light to moderate here now 32.1f Total Snow Year 1.2" grass only. with very little wind and high humidity levels and very wet roads I would expect icing black ice a real threat from here on out before developing wind to dry the roads out. I would think a Special Weather Statement or even a Winter Weather Advisory is needed for Delaware County due to icy roads the snow should be pulling out by midnight or so.
Ralph Wiggum
Latest measurement was 2.5" and still snowing moderately. Really hasn't slowed past 3 hours where this band has continued to backbuild over E Montco and Central Bucks. Only a patchy coating on roads here but we did in fact just have a plow come thru. Thought maybe just a salt truck but nope...full plow engaged. Looks like it is just starting to lighten up. Will take a measurement on the snow board later but definitely added at least another .25" since last measurement when i swept off the deck.

Less intensity the last hour, so as of 11:30 pm we're now at about 0.9" with the temp finally down to 32F, so we should start seeing some accumulation on paved surfaces. Latest HRRR still showing another 1-2" overnight for most of CNJ/NNJ/NYC, so 2" is easily within reach here and for most, with some areas in the Lehigh Valley, NWNJ, Bucks, Montco, the Poconos, etc. already having reached 2"+. Hoping there will be some left in spots for Christmas. 1.4" for the season, including the 1/4" of graupel we had last week while splitting wood one evening.
