All a sudden is massive heavy snow in Hanover when it had been raining.

Looks like there is one more pretty heavy band to the west yet to come through here. That should get me over 2 inches for the event if it is snow. in a lull right now.

That near record high was good to see. It’s how I remember getting those 3-4” snow to dry slot drizzle events.

We got about 2in. about a mile or two west of I-81.  It was surprising to see how quickly the remaining snow cover dropped traveling east this morning.  Even from one side of Hagerstown to the other was a big drop off.  Razor thin temp gradient, I guess.  I will say we did have some rain mix in, but most of the time when the significant radar returns were overhead it was always snow.

Sterling reported 4 inches about 15 miles northeast of Hagerstown.
