Precip shield on nw side looks like crap on all models. Maybe I'll get lucky with a coating to an inch. Outer cape may get some OE snow showers late Sunday or Monday..so maybe something to watch for them

Sort of the tenor of the last couple of seasons. More inches of rain than snow each winter month. BTW, tenor is the new weenie word of this winter.

Looks like the trough on 6z GFS actually trended a bit better than 0z, but the SLP development and evolution is significantly more realistic than at 0z. No spurious convective mass modifying the surface evolution

The main trough trending better isn’t enough on this threat unless it’s very strong changes…it needs to overcome the southern stream destructive interference happening. That will take the type of trend you don’t typically see inside of 100 hours. We’d need a pretty substantial positive trend at 12z for me to entertain more than 1-2”.

And who’s imparting anything? This is a forum for god sakes.  And I completely get that this month to date has sucked for a lot of places. I wasn’t saying it hasn’t for a lot of places.  I was speaking to Anthony…but his place almost always sucks.  That ain’t anybody else’s fault.
