Converged on a 12/21/2024 coastal storm, however ... much higher than normal uncertainty relative to very shortterm. May need nowcast for impacting east/SE regions

Yeah maybe Ray gets a consolation prize for taking over house duties lol. I get it.

Something to watch from  Essex county just inland to metro west and nrn RI. Hopefully some leftovers here.

I think that’s where most of us are at this point. Hope for enough moisture to get a solid coating for the next cold intrusion and hope the Christmas shortwave morphs into something decent.

Nah, cover the grass for Xmas and I'm good....

If this CF sets up with a bit of easterly flow over the top, it might do that from your area to mine....I could see 2-4" happening. The problem is the setup is delicate, so just assume it won't work out until we're closer....but it's a plausible scenario....and yes, a derivative of fraud five, but once in a while they throw you a bone.

I'm honestly starting to feel good about at least some mood flakes in the air and some accumulation on the ground in my area during the lead up to Xmas.

Wrong thread for it, but Xmas Eve/Xmas is starting to look more and more interesting.
