Mtns and higher elevations of Maine snow pack will survive, Further east its more iffy as they stay in the warm sector longer.
Maybe 50F or so for a couple hrs tomorrow night, otherwise looks like low 40s most of day, at least in mtns. Ed said he was heading to camp for wknd but not sure if there will be anything worth riding on

Yeah, nobody in  NNE is getting wiped out wrt snowpack.  The ski areas will have their work cut out for them with grooming and rebuilding but it won’t be a full on Grinch.

as usual, winds will disappoint outside of inland coastal and elevation.
I’m anticipating highest gusts around 25-30 mph in the valley.

Yeah, Ski areas bases are established in NNE, They will lose the natural base on top but will recover, Its a short window above temps and dews in those areas, Winds always disappoint outside of coastal areas, Those areas will warm sector the least and may even see some anafrontal snows on the back end.

You sure? Didn't you know you're in the Special Wind Zone in New England?!?! Or so they say.

Exactly. All this talk of 60 mph winds inland is just that...Talk

Someone will point to some aberration at the orange  or Fitchburg airport. Never reaches folks.

Seems like quite the shift east with the main low on the NAM? Though not sure I want to say shift east...more so a more east develop of the low. Looks like it takes longer for the low to develop?

Everything shifts east in the near term.  There’s something with the mid-range code in models that seem to over amp lows.  The SE trend in the near term is very well documented over the years.

As the crow flies, how far are you from the water?

Well closest is just over 2 miles to my north.

But with this wind direction it won’t matter. Wind will be from like 170 or so. I find these events to be better just inland from south coast. My guess is ern Plymouth county will rip as this looks to get a boost in the LLJ as it traverses that area. We may get clipped with that. I know it’s the wind clown map, but 3K nam shows that.

Interesting that Logan was below freezing to freezing all day.  BOS went above after 6pm.  No zl reported though and mby has stayed above freezing.

Yeah I was 32-33 all day. I saw that low temp as well. It briefly dipped below 32 but I think no precip fell?
