CoastalWx
No, it’s not over, but your area Kevin may not get the best winds. As Wolfie says, we’ll see what 12z says.
Damage In Tolland
There’d better be some good wind here and across the region. With no winter or snow to track, was really looking forward to this . 1
amc
GYX in with the high wind watches. Euro rips across most of ME, NAM and others more moderate. Morning news seems to be insisting this is a coast only thing with no wind maps yet. Many don't seem to buy it yet. CMP doesn't even have the "we're ready!" messaging on their website yet. 1

Damage In Tolland
BOX actually increased those numbers from last night and expanded the watches NW which should continue again as the day moves along

SJonesWX
this (minus the wind) reminds me of Christmas 2020, where i lost a 2 foot snowpack overnight. i have about a 5" snowpack (spotty) this year, that should vaporize pretty quick

This is what usually happens with these most of the time. 2-4 days out it’s got winds of a strong TS, as we close in those winds decrease to what they almost always are, due to one reason or another (inversion or storm itself shifts) and that is nothing all that exciting. If it shifts at 12z…it’s done for most of SNE. Scott and the cape get the goods. Which is good since they’ve had nothing in a long time.

weatherwiz
I'm hoping we get a severe thunderstorm watch tomorrow. Outside of northern New England it would be Severe Thunderstorm Watch: 1 Winter Storm Watch: 0 in meteorological winter hahaha 1 1
Modfan2
Seems like there is a decent cold drain coming from the NE; down to 34F after being around 39F; not sure how this plays into anything.
