If I got nothing else, Im left with a below climo snow total and a very high January heating bill.
Typical.
The 9 years of bad luck continues.
Exactly. Five inches of snow total in Lynchburg. More snow to our west, east, north and way down south.

Spring leaf hasn’t even made it out of Florida yet per the USAPN

Probably the slowest advancement its had since like 2015.  It won't move much either even if they do torch down there from 1/29-2/8 or so.  After you have a month that cold it takes a good 12-14 days where you're averaging over 50 or so to really get things going.  Even less year FL/GA/MS/AL/TX went way slower in Feb than they did in 21-23 because January had that cold stretch mid month.

Rarely post in the panic room, but I just saw a flock of birds flying north in formation. Was thinking “so soon? Its like they already know”

La Nina might be waking up.  It was a good run, though.  That said, I do kinda buy the sneaky late season snow idea.

I am so happy about an early spring in Texas! Yesterday I got to enjoy 69 degree temps alongside 69 degree dewpoints! The Pattern is Changing! I am already trying to jumpstart my spring weeding for prep because the weather is so nice!!!!!!

Looks like potentially 60 here on Monday. I’m excited about the early spring. We had a good run, though.

It’s always a bad sign when the last bit of hope is a strat split. They are forecasted often but rarely happen and when they do the cold never settles over us.

What do you mean "last bit of hope"? You're acting like we're heading into some total crap shutout pattern and didn't just have the coldest January in 11 years, lol

Last February was lit!  Epic snows and glacial cold, just as progged.  Right?

Don't worry, March is a reliable snow month...if you like non-accumulating 2pm snow showers with veiled sun.
