I didn't get anything like this where I'm at the last few wind events. Even the more hyped wind events haven't delivered like this one is atm.

Interesting.  It’s been windy but less here than the last few wind events. Only a handful of gusts into the 40s whereas the others had a lot of 50+.

Well, I'll be dipped in shit. Long time no talk lol.  I don't doubt that. Maybe it's a directional/ geographic thing . Sometimes, I'm  sheltered from the worst here it seems, but not tonight/last night. That's why I made sure to say where I'm at in my post. I had a few minutes of very heavy sustained gusts here earlier, but so far, nothing else quite like that.  I also didn't meen to down play the last event.  I feel like someone took it that way, but all I  said was the strong wind had not gotten to my area yet. Anyways, no biggie. I also never doubt @Jns2183 observations but I definitely wasn't experiencing what he was reporting last event, and he is probably only 3 to 5 miles from me the way the crow flies depending on where he's at in New Cumberland. Stay safe out there today.

I don't even know what happened. But this place went from being fun to quiet.

I've been trying to fill some void until your buddies come back, but my new stuff doesn't win over hearts like the old days. Maybe if I post nude selfies of myself again, that will liven this place up. I think you'll be pleased that my tits have doubled in size since Covid, but be warned my chins look like a Foreskin sandwich.

Ugh...really?

Tonight
A chance of rain between 8pm and 11pm, then a chance of snow after 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. West wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

No of course not. Relax ! I know it's very tough for you guys seeing that you literally have only kept or semi excepted one posting member into your tribe since 2011. Let's not do this now Seriously !!!

Yes I agree we can now probably stick a fork in this one for the most part. But that doesn't mean that something winterwise cant happen within the next month. I remember I think the first day of Spring in 2017 we had a snow event that stuck on the roads in the middle of the day and afternoon that turned the roads to ice underneath the snow cover. I remember going home from work and it was nasty driving.

We should see near normal temperatures through the weekend before a big warmup next week. Some spots across the higher terrain of Chester County could see some wet snow toward midnight tonight. A small accumulation is possible in some spots. Could this be our last snow of the year? Our latest day with some average measurable snow is actually still over 6 weeks away on April 23rd. The latest measurable snow in Chester County history was the 0.1" of snow reported at Glenmoore back on May 1, 1963.

yes f the trends still had cold but the temp forecast went from maybe another artic outbreak for march to above normal over night. one of the few times this winter the temp guidance was wrong.  now if we were still having shots of cool or cold air id agree. but I just dont see any chances for cold air at all. the coolest I see is 55.

March is a transitional weather month that can represent both winter and summer like weather events. For example, we have had temperatures as warm as 90 degrees back on March 22, 1948 in Phoenixville and as cold as 4 below zero back in 1984. One of the largest snowstorms in County history occurred back in 1958 when 50 inches of heavy wet snow fell at Elverson/Morgantown which resulted in rescue helicopters being  needed at the Morgantown Exit of the PA Turnpike just up the road from here in East Nantmeal to rescue stranded cars and trucks. That same storm resulted in 49” of snow at Devault. Below are the March records for the County.image.thumb.png.f0399eb24ab2c2ba0332fb896b018220.png

This is just simply not true. Bubbler and the Trainer post every day, multiple times a day, four seasons of the year and I haven't seen Bubbler post in about two weeks and the Trainer came on just to address somebody's asshurt over a fun post.

I think your presence also may have something to do with it.

When you can barely open your truck door, this wind sucks. I've got a great story of what happened to me yesterday that I'll post later.

So I was taking an empty trailer into Whirlpool in Mechanicsburg and when you stop at the guard house, you have to open the trailer doors so they can make sure it's clean inside.

Well the wind was so strong that I was having a hard time swinging it open. I was pushing with all my might when a big gust blew in and started pushing the door back on me.

When that happens, you let it go and bail out, or you're going to end up with a broken face.

So end result, the door SLAMMED shut, and at the same time my cap blew off my head. I can laugh about it now, but I was pissed at the time.

If you use mobile you might not see it but there’s a sidebar that shows stuff like most popular posts and days as well as the top 4 posters in the topic. Bubbler and ITT are #1 and #3. Blizz and mitchnick are the other two. Mitch has been posting in the Mid-Atl threads and there hasn’t been much snow digital or otherwise for blizz to share. Definitely a dynamic changer for sure. Those 4 combined account for like 44% of the posts in this thread haha.

Also, despite the general winter is dead theme today..it’s probably not going to be dead for you tonight. I expect at least some of that precipitation in northern Ohio and western PA to make it over as far as you and it’ll likely be mostly snow. Nothing serious but could be a quick coating. Not much is progged to make it past the I-99 corridor in the rest of C-PA otherwise.
