ChescoWx
Happy First Day of Phillies Spring Training Baseball games for those who celebrate!!! Go Phillies!! Well, we finally reach near to slightly above normal temps the rest of this week as we get a brief break from the consistently cold winter weather that has held us in its icy grip since around Thanksgiving Day! Our warmest day looks to be Tuesday where most spots may actually exceed 50 degrees. Here in East Nantmeal we have not enjoyed any days with a temperature that "warm" this year! Maybe we see some rain by Thursday.

This run it shows 3 chances between March 4th & 10th. Maybe March will have a chance to make up for some of our February disappointment? It would figure. I got that new job, and that will be my first week. We always get snow when I start a new job in the cold weather months...

Jns2183
Looks like I'm going to finish January and February with just about 2" of precipitation combined. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
ChescoWx
So how persistently cold has this winter been from a historical basis here in Chester County PA? Well, we will finish February as our 3rd straight winter month (Dec/Jan/Feb) with below normal temperatures. To put this in perspective a winter featuring the winter months all finishing below normal regarding temperatures has not happened in the last 11 years (2013-14). In fact, this is only the 14th time in the last 55 years and overall, only the 36th time in 132 seasons of record back to the winter of 1894-95 here in Chester County to pull off such a hat trick! I suspect most of us are about ready for some springtime weather!

Save for the one surprise I got a month ago the good stuff was North South East and West of me. Like that pretty much every year now it seems. Always next year. You're in Bedford right? I maintain that the area from Bedford to towards Selinsgrove and Middleburg are the snow hole. The ole Ridge and Valley screw zone.

It’s gorgeous.
