Here in Carlisle at 12:00 noon, it continues to snow moderately and even heavily periodically.  The temperature is 30.0 degrees.  It dropped to 29.8 degrees for a while and then came back to 30.  During the past hour 0.7" of snow fell giving a storm total of 0.7".  Flake size is increasing which means the rate is increasing.

Last night's 0Z Nams had our region getting between 2" and 4" of snow before any changeover.  So, what's happening now shouldn't be a total surprise.  But, it certainly is a pleasant surprise nonetheless.

It had no snow here.   Literally nothing.

Temp 27 so it might get interesting. Specially if the ZR kicks in.

We have sleet mixing in right now so the change is taking place here as well.  I just measured 3 spots and an average of 2.6".  I measured between Chambersburg and Fayetteville and they were approaching 3" an hour ago so they probably broke 4 in some spots up there.

Roads are wet. Snowing pretty good but I think sleet is inbound

Flipped to sleet briefly, but changing back to snow big flakes. A friend in Glen Rock said it never changed to sleet, snowing heavily there
