The record lows for the 21st thru the 23rd are only 4, 4, and 6. Doable, especially if, dare I say, we could get a snowpack in place.

I made it a point to look when we went by MDT on the train on Tuesday and it was still very solid. There are a few open areas starting to appear but overall still a very nice frozen look.

I am better than Monday but actually feel a little worse than yesterday. No emergencies though :-). Yea it has been almost no stop precip. The heavy drizzle last evening and temps just above freezing with rain over night did a number on the snow pack over here. With that said, the drought map has not budged!

I think it's quite interesting that last night's Euro gave us nothing on Saturday and then a big dog next week. I'm telling you, I think we want this weekend to fail...
Jns2183
Eventually we are going to cash in on one of these storms. The important part right now is they keep coming. I already had an amazing surprise in the January storm. Forecasted to get 4" I ended up almost to 9". So I can't complainSent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk 2

I don't think it would, though, but do believe the final track of next week's threat will be effected by this weekend's storm i.e. this weekend is the table setter. In that regard, a track further west would be better I think. But it's all pure speculation.

I've stated earlier this week that my hunch was that things would come in cooler as we get to this weekend (base state). So far the nooners are seeing that a bit. RGEM ticked notably south w/ frozen for saturday. Still think a couple ticks SE for SLP are not off the table IMO. I say this cause this one cuts through pa and nooners for NW PA mostly frozen verbatim, and Clearfield isnt too far from appreciable winter event as well. Just where my heads been. Might be brain fog. dunno.
