Why did you say that?

I often think the same thing. (as JNS)

You have (literally) millions of people in the New England, NYC, Philly and Baltimore/DC areas. We often easily outpost Philly and we're not far behind the others with WAY fewer people in our area. I think he's 100% dead on right. I don't think it's even close. How can you not see that?

It was intended as a joke. 3 posts that could have easily been 1.

Harrisburg has been a stunning snow globe all morning, with the flakes, at times, falling so slowly that they appear to be suspended.  No real additional accumulation where I'm at in the heart of the concrete jungle but I imagine some grassy surfaces and outlying areas are adding a wee bit to their totals.  Just a beautiful scene.

Nah. The problem with the internet is you're not there to see the posters' body language. A lot of my posts intended to be humorous come across poorly. Not your fault. And the other posts intended to be a joke aren't funny.:(

Didn’t the Philly people all move to some other board?

Yeah, "PhillyWx" which I don't think exists any longer. I posted there as well as Mitch and a few others. A lot of the Philly area posters bolted here for that site when it was started by Tombo.

National high of 90 at McAllen, TX and low of -47 at Peter Sinks for an amazing Lower 48 diurnal range of 137 degrees, and yes, I am fully aware that this interests only me.  Carry on.

I'd kill for a 90 degree day.

Just drove the tyke down to his grandmother's in Orbisonia. Roads are fine about two inches down that way. Up here it's just so damned fn cold. I am over the cold.

Sat Winter Storm is pretty beefy on GFS though temps 30-32 for much the southern half of PA should limit road issues.   2-4" of snow for Easters.

I'm happy...I guess? Blizz had me feeling guilty last night for not wishing this to turn better. Thinking about it, any snow is good snow. And there are no guarantees going forward, so there's that too. It would be nice to see yet another snowy scene...

I'm just craving something special though.

Back on Eastern, his afternoon Euro PBP was epic. I mean zero disrespect to anyone else but his breakdown on model runs...holy cow was he good.

yep, i remember.

The PBP's down in the forum to our south, used to be pretty good...with sprinkles of bafoonery, and peep that shoulda read more...posted less.

Hell, JI the wiz that he is, was one of the more trigger happy dudes there.  I'd still think tossin a pint back w/ him would be a fun time.

i could sense you were bummed last night.  I was in your camp, but we all know that the pattern IS getting a bit better moving forward, so if we can keep the chances coming....chances are you get your flush hit.  And if not, nickles and dimes still fill the jar.

I need the weekend storm to be a nothingburger up this way. Districts is Saturday and driving to Brockway in snow and ice sounds like a date worse than death.

Indeed they are, the road to Hershey begins!  Districts for some and sectionals for others.  D7 (WPIAL) already has brackets out for AA and AAA sectionals.  I'm going to guess you're headed to the D6 AA tourney?  That's in Altoona, no?  Just hit me that I may get scolded for typing all this on the weather board.  Apologies to all, I just get real excited when talking wrestling haha.

D9 AA in Brockway. Because Clearfield would be the only AAAA school in D6, they went to D9 along with du Bois, who would be only the second AAAAA school in the district. For some reason ,du Bois Central Catholic and Curwensville went D9 as well.

Curwensville in particular is a member of the Inter County Conference, which is D5 and D6 and it blows my mind why they would be in D9 meaning districts get to be in Brockway and you get the random road trip to Oswayo Valley or Sheffield or Bradford or Port Allegany. In the same season they could travel for an away meet to Windber (Johnstown) on Tuesday and an away meet in Bradford (NY border) on Thursday and the Athletic Director doesn't bat an eye at that scheduling. It's dumb as shit.

Absolutely! He changed his screen names a couple of times, I remember him being Easternwx or something of the sort. I think he lived out near where Bubbler is for a while and then moved to VA maybe? I'm afraid he might have had health issues or something?
