I’m stuck between the south stream and the N feed that Voyager saw. I’ll put this “event” down as .5”. Doesn’t seem the south band will move far enough north.

Tomorrow doesn’t look promising for snow  - last I saw rain takes over snow in the evening. My grid calls for less than half an inch.

Ummm… event is not over…

We’re in between accumulating bands (it’s not snowing here) and unless that southern slides north it is. CTP has snow ending by 1 am for MDT.

yeah didnt snow for about 2 hours really cut into any accumulations. back to snowing but ever so lightly most roads are still just wet with side walks only some side streets have a dusting

Yes indeed…

Also, CTP never revised the Saturday sleet total.

I saw the Harrisburg Coop reported 1.5" for that event.  CTP doesn't have direct control of the FAA observers at airports.  These observers usually don't carry the weather passion as us here and that does affect the accuracy.  CTP can make corrections if needed but usually don't like getting involved unless it's a blatant error.

Here's my 12:00 midnight report from Carlisle and daily summary...

At midnight it was snowing lightly and steadily with the flakes a bit larger than the fine stuff from earlier.  Fortunately, the northern edge of the snow which had dropped south to literally about 5 miles south of me, came back north all the way up through Perry county.  I only managed to add 0.1" of snow during the past 2 hours which brings the storm total (and daily total) to 0.7".  I melted down the snow and it came out to 0.07" which was a perfect 10:1 SLR.  My temperature held steady for two hours at 27.7 but dropped to 27.5 around 11:30.  I'm going to presume that that was the approximate time that the intensity picked up just a bit.  That's it for my obs for the night.  I cleared my board and gauge and will see what awaits me in the morning.
