The Rap is streaking WAA qpf in (mostly south) near daybreak tomorrow.  Something to watch.  Early arrival allows it to fall as snow.

As you know, overrunning events often come in a little quicker than modeled, so not a total surprise.  In this situ, yeah any stuff that is early is white.  Hoping that trend continues on meso's

I would not be surprised if it snowing when I wake up tomorrow like you mention.  Would rather it not be so I can get some stuff done tomorrow AM.

If it could come in here early enough, say by 8am, it would make for great photos and videos of the steam train. The Reading and Northern is doing an iron horse ramble tomorrow. Steam, cold, and snow is an awesome combination and can be a real sight to behold if the engine is pounding the rails, as it will pulling the grade here in Tamaqua.

BIg thing I noticed with this GFS run is that it cut snowfall totals in the jack zone way back, now much more in line with other model outputs. Gone are the 15-20" amount nonsense.

This is two days in a row you have used the word nonsense around this time.  LOL

I mean, I actually do like where we sit haha, especially with how some of the other models are depicting things.  It may work out, it may not, but I'll take that positioning any day of the week.

At the expenses of DT and Short Pump it would be better if the system(s) on the GFS were more amped and more singular like yesterday.

I think they were largely posted for fun, but the real takeaway is an active period is headed our way and now we just gotta hope for a flush hit or 2 within.

If one looks beyond #4 nutbuster (that was for bub)...there would be more numbers and names needed for week 2

Oh, I agree with what you're saying, my only (and I feel valid) point is that fun or not, the model did slash snowfall totals. This was never going to be a 15-20" event, and that is what the GFS was trying to sell us.

Always be wary of salesmen.

And HR.

Probably more so HR.

Shaq was putting it to HR people on TNT last night.
