What are you thinking? Snow quickly changing to sleet heavy at times?

Its a tough call. Typically, the warm nose is under-modeled but the low level cold is always modeled too warm during the event. The latest HRRR paints more freezing rain than sleet and no snow. I think any snow is short-lived and maybe 1/2” of sleet then 0.2” of freezing rain. Looks to he pushing out of the area around 10am.

Yeah CTP thinking sleet but I agree the warm nose will play a big factor. Thanks man.

That’ll change again. But you always want to cash in early.

Exactly! I think the Tuesday/Wednesday wave is coming into better focus. I like the Warning level snow potential for much of CTP.

Beyond that, stay tuned. 50 to 100 miles will make a difference on where the boundary sets up.

CTP has taken nearly all zr out of my grid

Tonight
Snow, freezing rain, and sleet before 4am, then snow and sleet. The sleet could be heavy at times. Low around 29. Calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 9 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Total nighttime snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Thursday
Rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet before noon, then a chance of rain between noon and 3pm. The sleet could be heavy at times. High near 42. Southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming south in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
