Well, no 0z sounding data in the 0z run. It's not in it until the 1z run per High Risk in the MA forum. Caveman Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM The consistency across all global weather models strongly indicates an upcoming shift in the weather pattern. The most notable change is that Pennsylvania will be positioned within a storm track expected to bring ample precipitation over the next few weeks. Additionally, as we move later into winter and transition toward the warmer season, the southeastern ridge will attempt to establish itself. With the polar vortex projected to split between both hemispheres, there will likely be significant opportunities for winter weather over the next 4–5 weeks. Given the current conditions, much-needed precipitation is on the way. Even if a portion of it falls in frozen form, this period of winter is shaping up to be a memorable one—especially for lifelong residents of the KMDT area. 2

Bubbler86 Posted yesterday at 02:14 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:14 AM That snow on the Nam is something else. Would be one of those stories you tell people about how it snows 2-4" in one area of the LSV and none in the other but it was all in a fairly skinny line. It is a school canceler for some areas. Bubbler86 Posted yesterday at 02:26 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:26 AM Nam12 keeps much of the first part of the Ice storm south of this forum. A little sleet up into the LSV but that initial slug misses. Gets Lanco on the way by.

Bubbler86 Posted yesterday at 02:34 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:34 AM Seems the Nam is battling with the low transferring. Paweather540 line is well into NY though when the icy precip falls so definitely no snow at that point. Quote a few paweather ice showers though.
