Done this for too long and at some point ya just gotta let it b what it’s gonna b and stop obsessing over qpf outputs. We’ve been jipped a plenty down here so it’s nice to see one come in pretty much as advertised.

I did look to see how the 18z models did, other than the Euro, and they all had that same heavy stripe of 4-5" after 1pm that was on the 12z runs.

canderson
Final: 8.75”. Amazing Storm. Sheltered spot so a bit more stable than anywhere else. Shoveling was made more difficult because the wind blew it back to where it came from.

Voyager
I'm at 5.5", but I'm wondering if wind didn't shave some off the top. I'm going try to find a more sheltered location and try again after supper.

Most models had you guys getting 1-3" more over there regardless of what totals they showed. I busted real low on you guys but undercutting the models. Congrats! I should have stuck with my first call for you.

canderson Posted yesterday at 12:07 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:07 AM Just want to say again - what a fun unicorn storm. Voyager Posted yesterday at 12:10 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 12:10 AM I got 6 and 6.25 in more sheltered locations. I guess I'll officially go with 6" at this point unless anything significant falls later. Nice event overall, and some of the heaviest rates I've seen in years. Now, bring on spring...
