Hopefully not much rain today to destroy remaining snow. :weenie:

I have zero evidence of snow here. 100% gone in my yard. There is some remaining in my area where previous snow had drifted.

It was freezing rain out this way.  Sidewalk and driveway icy

Not a drop or flake or anything else here. It is an extremely dark day, however.

I was thinking about putting together a snowfall contest for HIA like I’ve done in the past.   Guess the official snow amount at airport and use qpf as a tie breaker.   If interested in submitting a guess, “like” this post so I can gage if it’s worth putting together.

Everything is mostly gone here as well, except areas where it drifted

Our backyard holds snow so well, still have half of it covered. Loving all the ‘lil snow on snow events this year.

When we were looking to buy 30 years ago I made a significant tactical error. I did not factor in snow retention into my matrix. I can't tell you how many times when I'm driving around looking at snow covered yards that I have serious regrets.

You would have to move mighty far away for that to make a real difference

My back yard still pretty snow covered. Most of the yards on the north side of the house in my neighborhood, whether front or back, have retained 75% of the snow. Due to the low sun angle, the houses block much of the direct sunlight; south sides mainly, but not only, piles.

Running into lots of people who are thinking tomorrow is a bust.  I break out the Wsw for them and they give me old wives tales of how they know it is going to "blow north".

I'll take a northerly blow but I'm fine if it stays south for you all

These are the same people that will tell you that the government controls the weather, and that you are getting a microchip inserted from getting a vaccine.

Yeah, CTP gonna have to put some pink on the map soon and extend a tier north.

edit.   Their current watches in good shape for upgrade to warnings.   Advisories a tier or two north

I had someone tell me that Hanover and Gettysburg are going to miss out and the heavy stuff will hit Mt Holly springs.  Lol.  I mentioned this because of our general pubic convo this am. It is

I’m really liking our spot with today’s runs. Euro just juiced up nicely for our neck of the woods and we’ll have relatively solid ratios I’d think. Rates in this should be nice

Sterling went 3-6” with lollies of 8” for Frederick and Carroll. Just updated. Think CTP will follow when they pull the trigger

We should get some good rates and good ratios in this one. Thinking 5-8” here. Euro and icon have trended wetter and they do run off some of the same algorithms.
