24 degrees

Getting so a lot of people don’t even have cable TV anymore. A lot of streamers

Myself I usually don’t watch local weather. Either Weather Nation or Fox weather.

I read somewhere that a lot of local weathermen are about to get their walking papers as TV affiliates go to outsourcing local weather to TWC.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say the Euro won’t be too far southeast by 100+ miles within 24 hours of go-time.

Yesterday, the Euro was still way off.

Interesting to note that that the Euro does not always lead the way. The GFS also had minimal interest until yesterday.

The Canadian & Euro AI have lead the way this event by far.

I guess one thing temps will be below freezing before, during and after the storm. So every flake will count. And I assume blowing and drifting will become a problem in exposed areas. Especially where I live. Plows are absent alot of the time on secondary roads including state Penndot plowed roads. And with the holiday on Monday, there will be no hurry to plow. But my wife is an essential US government employee that has to get to work in the wee hours of Monday morning.

Hard to know who’s way off yet since we don’t have verification, but this look by the RGEM is a lot different than the 6Z Euro. This is rain in a lot of places Euro is 6”+

I was going to post this too.

No one here has had any snow this year that was screwed up by a warm 500mb later or something to flip it to sleet. It’s pretty unusual and tmrw continues this great trend.

Most of the general public still uses weather apps, wgal, and radio.

The people the rely on the apps drive me crazy.

”But my app says there’s only a 42% chance at 3 pm”!

I just roll my eyes & tell them they are auto programmed & change by the hour & should rarely be relied upon.

The apps are only good for radar imho.

There are a few big drifting areas on my route to Allentown from the wells on both 309 and 100. They get dicey from even an inch or two, so it'll be interesting to see how bad they get Monday-Wednesday. I might bring the cameras out to record the ride.

Exactly, or say like earlier this week, I was casually mentioning to people that there’s a good chance of at least a few inches of snow…

”Yeah, but my app… “!

Then yesterday… “hey, you were right again…then the question quickly becomes “how much l”?!
