Really the perfect setup for a quick SECS as there is no pent up warm air push risk, just a slug of moisture pushed this way. If it ends up scoring this one, it will be remembered.

WmsptWx Posted yesterday at 07:53 PM Share Posted yesterday at 07:53 PM Snow has stopped for now. I need it to be done for the evening as wrasslin takes me to Alexandria tonight and Juniata Valley. Not really looking to pirouette down Sandy Ridge mountain just to watch a bunch of forfeits being awarded.
Mount Joy Snowman Posted yesterday at 07:58 PM Share Posted yesterday at 07:58 PM Well, just measured almost .5" here. We'll go .45", if I may. Still coming down decent too. Another win in my book, no mater how small.

Yeah forfeits are always an issue, particularly with smaller schools and at the tail-end weights. You should see how prevalent they are on the girls side, as I'm sure you're aware.

We are digging deep, I love it (seriously). The CFS develops the system over the gulf and sends it straight off the Fla coast and OTS. A very souther start for it. Get these predicts up here for posterity's sake post storm

River Road has not been covered at any point. Solid dusting on everything else though. Pretty winter day.
Bubbler86 Posted yesterday at 08:24 PM Share Posted yesterday at 08:24 PM Nam fairly similar through 51. Would really like to see it recognize some type of intensification on the front. 1

Mount Union doesn't half-ass their sports. From the entry-level on up they are working based off of how varsity is working and they never have issues with numbers. They sent seven kids to wrestle. And it's not just wrestling that's an issue as their JH football team was almost non-existent this past year. That's the kinda shit I expect from small D6/9 schools like West Branch, Tussey Mountain, Glendale, where nobody lives and the kids who live there would rather do anything else, but I didn't expect that from Mount Union. If I go to Redbank Valley next month and experience the same, I'll sound a full-blown alarm on youth sports participation.

Sure but I thought they are a direct correlation to the nam/wrf run in ensemble format in the eyes of NCEP. The purposely keep the GFS out of it. ChescoWx Posted yesterday at 08:56 PM Share Posted yesterday at 08:56 PM Still snowing lightly but steadily here in East Nantmeal with 1.3" of snow so far today. This brings our month to date total to 5.9" which is 2.6" above normal month to date. For the season we are up to 8.7" which is now only 1.0" below our normal seasonal snow through today.
GrandmasterB Posted yesterday at 09:00 PM Share Posted yesterday at 09:00 PM 12Z NAM didn’t even have a low pressure area reflected so in my opinion it shifted infinity% to the west.
Bubbler86 Posted yesterday at 09:06 PM Share Posted yesterday at 09:06 PM I asked someone in the know who said the sref is mostly made of up different iterations of the wrf, which is the basis for the Nam in core version wrf-nmm. They consider it the Nam ensembles though they see why someone would consider it 21 different models as they are separate cores so no clear answer there. Chatgpt considers it the Nam ensembles but Chatgpt is wrong a lot.
Bubbler86 Posted yesterday at 09:15 PM Share Posted yesterday at 09:15 PM Icon is a big hit. Pass through SE VA. Slower and more expansive precip field than 12Z. A monster borderline blizzard (winds too low) in NE.
