Well…at least the gfs is the worst performing model at the moment. Even the NAVGEM came in better in its latest run.

pasnownut Posted yesterday at 03:30 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:30 PM RGEM is really a best case scenario for the LSV'rs SE 1/3 of PA crew. Blows up early enough and far enough SW of us to get into some appreciable snows. with the ICON on board what can go wrong. Biggest GFS run incoming since the last one....6 hrs ago.
AccuChris Posted yesterday at 03:30 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:30 PM This is only 10:1 snowmap but ICON was much better at 12z versus 6z.

Itstrainingtime Posted yesterday at 03:34 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:34 PM IF...haha, but IF the maps posted above pan out...by Sunday night I will have already eclipsed every single winter snowfall forecast that I saw for our area from any met back in November.

Shades of March 1993 but even a bit further south. Then again though, that wasn't the dead of winter. That was just about the middle of March. Mobile had over 1" of snow from that storm. They sit on the freaking Gulf. That was incredible.

pasnownut Posted yesterday at 04:00 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:00 PM and if one toggles through last 3 runs of GFS at same timestamp, you'll see it trending the way we want it, as it ticks NW. Thats not wishcasting (although i wanna believe), but fact. What happens in the end....we'll find out in abt 80 hrs.

As you know, we're just looking for continuity and it adds to the "it might be a snowy Sunday" chatter here in SE 1/3 of Pa. Fun for the game as well.
