Is it a Capital gain at our expense or does it miss them as well?

At this point, I'm prepared for Wilson NC to get more snow than we do in the next 2 weeks.

Thanks for noticing the Caps are tied for most points in the league!    Oh you mean the Icon.  Mostly Fredericksburg and south.

doomed city!

I would certainly be very surprised if the GFS pivots too much to the positive for us.   If the book closed on this chance today, it was one of the first to sniff out the trailing wave being forced south and east of original projections (it was too extreme to that point though.)  Also, the book does not close today.

18z RGEM looks promising but no surprise since the GEM has been the most bullishff51eafdcdbd04d728e4681bb5133533.jpg

JB had a good post today on the potential Sunday event.

He said the Canadian is developing the wave in the Arctic front, while the GFS is just jumping out to the boundary further east.

He thinks the answer will likely end up in between, with a solution like the Euro AI has been showing.
The Euro AI has been fairly consistent with the Sunday chance.

I like where the LSV sits for an Advisory level event on Sunday.

First things first, the 18z Euro is still on board for a coating to an inch in the LSV tomorrow with the Clipper.

And January is half over already, and still no big storm for most of us this winter.

A lot of our larger snows come second half of met winter (and March but just keeping it to Met winter for this post.) On the info I posted earlier it shows the normal met winter snow at MDT by Jan 14th is only 7.8".  The norm is almost double at 15.1" for the second half of met winter from Jan 15th-end of Feb.
