Bubbler86
The Rap model may have been closest to correct. NBM was too way too low (the mesh) showing many models under forecast.
Bubbler86
6Z GFS and CMC Operational really lost the Inauguration snow storm. Anything that tries to get started to our south is squashed. Ensembles have a variety of solutions as they always do... and offer more hope.

There is a lot of hope in this potential pattern starting next weekend through the end of the month. The 0z Canadian actually does show a lighter event chance next Monday evening.

Will end up being much more destructive (land/property) than any tropical system. Already estimated at 150-175 Billion. Prayers for her.

pawatch
Currently 27 degrees. Picked up an 1” of snow overnight. Nice leaf blowing stuff off the vehicles and sidewalk. Sad, all the devastation out in California.
Bubbler86
NS waves could see any of us getting some light snow at different times next week. West parts of the forum favored especially up-slope areas.

CarlislePaWx
Here in Carlisle, overnight I recorded 0.9" of new snow. (I'll have the meltdown shortly). Back on Monday (1/6) I recorded 3.0" which melted down to 0.22". That produced an SLR of 13.6 : 1. Looks beautiful out there again for the second time in only 5 days. Today marks the 5th consecutive day with more than 1" on the ground.
