With regard to the Fri night-Sat #snowstorm potential, it's way too early to finesse details or throw out #'s. Snow maps created before Wed PM or Thurs AM shouldn't be taken seriously & are subject to big changes! Many moving pieces need to interact perfectly for a major storm..

He's on point.  This one has a bunch of moving parts to sort out.  If were smart, we'll temper expectations no matter what, and hope to be pleasantly surprised, instead of moderately underwhelmed.

12z Canadians say "we'll keep those parts pretty far SE of PA", thank you.

I guess some of us will be nickeled and dimed with snowfall this winter. Of course we should be used to that by now.

better than going broke, right?

down here, we've been starvin for a couple years, you've been getting enough scraps to stay alive.  Is what it is.  I'll say that this has been a much better winter than last year, with more in sight.  My glass half full (of snow of course).

We need that one big storm that dumps 2 feet of snow and 30 plus Canderson winds for 3 days after the storm. Than we all will be happy.

Yes we sure do.  Watch as pattern relaxes (as of my parsin this am, the 15-18th IMO) and the NE snowgrinder lessens is grip.  Our luck we go straight back to cutterville, but if timed right, we could score...then watch it melt :(.

I honestly (selfishly?) thought that I had the best screen name on this entire board. "Itstrainingtime" incorporates 3 of my biggest passions in life: 1) Helping others grow professionally, 2) My love for all things steam trains, and 3) training storms during the summer. If I say so myself, I thought it was super clever.

But...but you have me beat. I fully concede. There is no one on this board with a more appropriate name than you have. Given 99% of your posts...well, your name says it all.

So no real answer i was legit asking because looking at this week I see np mich below temps. I'd say they are just below normal by 5 to 8 degrees. I kept hearing 15 to 25 below normal. This would pit temps down to 20 for a high. I asked if they were moderated
