I’m not sure how they measured .9 of snow on .14 of precip at MDT. Ratios had to been at least 10-1 today? Maybe another overnight revision will be coming with the final numbers… I'm sure they will revise it.

CarlislePaWx Posted yesterday at 12:59 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:59 AM Here in Carlisle, earlier today when the snow stopped I measured a storm total of 2.3". It remained that way until 2 hours ago when the expected second round began. Flakes were better/larger than anything that fell this morning. It was heavy for a short period of time and then settled back down to light. It's still snowing lightly at the moment with a temperature of 25.9 degrees after a high temp of 28.8 degrees. The second round deposited an additional 0.7" which brought the revised storm total to 3.0". Unless something unexpected happens it looks like accumulating snow is done here. I'll melt the snow down later this evening and post it when I have it.
MAG5035 Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM The late afternoon back end delivered only about another half inch here, making the storm total 1.8”. Just missed it all today haha.. the best 850mb FGEN to the south (expected), the best 700mb FGEN to the north (not expected), and lastly the 500mb vort pass to the south which by the obs down there has gotten the Mid-Atlantic folks fairly close to their forecasted totals. Kept waiting for legitimate flakeage to get here but it was just hours and hours of the type of stuff that barely makes for a coating. All good though, wasn’t expecting this batch to impact us much. Happy for those getting a little refresher.
Bubbler86 Posted yesterday at 01:11 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:11 AM Just measured about 1" on an area I had totally cleared. The plows are out and about again. Moderate snow continues but only one more band left. That is still nothing compared to some SE of here are getting with round 2.

Blizzard of 93 Posted yesterday at 01:19 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:19 AM Only ended up with 2.1 of snow in Marysville. Interesting & Frustrating event, but my yard is snow covered & it snowed at least lightly for a good chunk of the day.

I am not unhappy or jealous just pointing out how well the ULL/Coastal action congealed for them. I would expect to see some 2-3" extra totals west of Baltimore. mitchnick Posted yesterday at 01:23 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:23 AM I was 2.75" as of 10am, then we had light snows for several hours putting me at 3". Tonight ain't worth measuring as I can see it's around .5" and the wind is making it too crazy for an exact number, so I'll go with a final total of 3.5".
