Last year it was Buckle Up. LOL. I was rooting for the Southern Crew today as we have been spoiled up here in the NE corner. Have had a ton of flakes in the air most of the winter and now approaching 30" since mid November.

mitchnick
That dry air from that Atlantic storm that hurt us in the first place is still doing it's dirty work with weakening the bands creating lulls (in addition tonthe mts.) Unless that big band to my NW performs, the rest of these areas of snow moving SE are not going to do better than a coating. Incredible how hard it is to snow. And it's always been that way in the Mid Atlantic.

Bubbler86
MDT records .9" of snow per wgal. That is not what was posted before so not sure. Cashtown's report was on Wgal. Highest numbers were 4" in C-Burg and 3.8 in Greencastle.
Blizzard of 93
@CASH_COOP It might be time for another call to your friends at CTP. I’m not sure how they measured .9 of snow on .14 of precip at MDT. Ratios had to been at least 10-1 today? Maybe another overnight revision will be coming with the final numbers…
