Mount Joy Snowman
Intensity has definitely picked up over here. The next couple hours look to be the goods because I think it's going to shut off pretty quickly for us this afternoon. It really is stunning out there.

My backyard bar for any event, is to NOT see my grass blades stickin out. When cleaning patios or paths to woodbin, I will kick snow over exposed grass wherever i can. thanks for the chuckle. Nice to know I am in good company for being a whacko. Oh my, I also move snow from place to place to keep full coverage as long as possible. 1 1 1

It's hard to call it light snow here right now. More like flurries. Blizzard of 93
Heavier band is approaching the LSV so the next hour could see rates pick up.

canderson
Think my goal for 3” isn’t going to make it. The heaviest rates are done here it appears and the jets flying east. I also see the MA hurricane the GFS had this weekend disappeared lol

It will require a lot of moving pieces to sync perfectly to pull it off. That's never a formula to count on. 2
paweather
Places to our north are getting rocked. This shows you how the models once again didn't portray a northern aspect to the storm.
Voyager
Ran into the snow in Tamaqua after I left Hazleton. Sitting here in Allentown eyeballing about a half inch in light to moderate snow.

WmsptWx
Yeahhh... State College really fucked the dog on this one. Last night they decided to drop the HWO for the counties north of 22. It's coming down ferocious right now and the roads are a total shit show. Whoops.
anotherman
Hoping that all that stuff to our north pivots through here later when the coastal starts taking over.

Exactly, it’s snowing in Dubois for goodness sake. Maybe the modeled snow for later today will be more focused on southern PA instead of MD ? Didn't expect a flake but nice light to moderate snow over the past two hours. Could pick up a fluffy inch up here. SWS just posted from BGM on snow moving through. Still at 30% for possibility of snow showers!

mitchnick
DC to Bwi did get 4-6", with a few reports of 7-8", so they didn't fail. But it looks like some places in western VA did. It appears that DC south and east will do well - the area up near Rt. 70 which was forecast to jack seems to be underperforming.

That 700mb in particular sports a deep DGZ & increasingly saturated RH area. It's making for an area of subsidence along the Mason-Dixon & southern PA for now.
