Here is a list of the seasonal snowfall totals for this season to date.

i know that many think that this season really favored the Mid Atlantic for some reason.

I really disagree with this notion.

Someone please find a significant seasonal snowfall total to our south that shows much more snow than Harrisburg or Williamsport…

The facts are that MD/DC did better than us for 2 events. The Gulf coastal South cashed in on the historic event that hit New Orleans & Pensacola. Then, the storm a couple of weeks ago hit Richmond, Norfolk & the Outer Banks.

My point is that the bullseye has shifted around this Winter & no one specific area truly cashed in with large totals.

I think you have to look at departure from normal. Then you see a pretty striking difference when looking at (say) Norfolk versus HIA/IPT. There are several other MD and VA locations where you can do a similar exercise. When one is +10 and the other is -10/15 it kind of validates that the thought that south has been luckier.

Back-to-back beautiful spring days on tap across the area to start this week. High temperatures well into the 60's We turn about 10 to 15 degrees cooler on Wednesday before another slow warm up into the weekend. We look dry until Saturday night and Sunday. It looks like some more needed rain should arrive to close out the weekend. I am down at Phillies Spring Training for a couple weeks. Some rain early today before we clear up and some great weather for most of the rest of the week with Low 70's today and tomorrow warming to the 80's by Friday and into the weekend.

24 degrees this morning. Highest wind gust yesterday 41 mph.

Friday had to put man’s best friend down he was 11 1/2 years old. What a life changer.

Get out and enjoy this week! Seemed funny yesterday it stayed light so late.

Very sorry to hear this. We had to do this last Memorial Day when our doggo was about 14; it came on suddenly and we acted quickly to prevent any significant discomfort for him, but it left us stunned and shellshocked.

It sounds like your pup had 11 1/2 wonderful years, thanks to you, and I hope that gives you some comfort sooner rather than later.

Seems like the south-central PA clan has been having more than its fair share of hardship and loss over the past year or two. Fingers crossed for all of you that there are better days and peaceful times ahead.
