i could sense you were bummed last night.  I was in your camp, but we all know that the pattern IS getting a bit better moving forward, so if we can keep the chances coming....chances are you get your flush hit.  And if not, nickles and dimes still fill the jar.

Sometimes I need to heed my own advice. I really get excited for big storms...the thrill of the chase is electric. Of course, they don't come our way that easily and we were 100% spoiled from 2003 through 2016 when we had like 7 or 8 of them. Now, it's been 9 years and the itch is growing. I pulled back and realized that I wasn't being very rationale. I'm sorry for my temporary wet blanket.

Absolutely! He changed his screen names a couple of times, I remember him being Easternwx or something of the sort. I think he lived out near where Bubbler is for a while and then moved to VA maybe? I'm afraid he might have had health issues or something?

i think you are correct on all points. Brisko, Zac Brisko was his name. just came to me

I knew Zak too.  Way back around 2008 or so Zak's handle on Eastern was Mr. B.  He was a junior in Greencastle high school then.  After he graduated he went up to Penn State pursuing meteorology.  Unfortunately he had a sudden health issue (which I can't remember the specifics of), and was forced to leave State College and transfer to Mt. Alto.  After the transfer due to his health issues he had to change majors.  I think it was related to law enforcement.  I'm pretty sure he finished up there and graduated.  We lost contact after that other than I know that he met a girl and eventually they got married and moved to Virginia.  I don't know anything more than that now.

Thank you for filling in my gaps. I had the gist of the story but this was helpful. I sincerely hope he's doing well.

congrats.  That batch has been showing up for days, and seemed to sit n rot just west of the LSV.

Nooner NAM says it comes east, but as we know, the NAM can be a bit overzealous in its qpf distribution.  Hoping it's onto something, as some more afternoon mood snows sounds great to me.

Its not showing on radar but it is still snowing here. Light but steady snow.

If it keeps up it might get me to 3 lol.

Hmmm...EUS was Marcus, correct? I think we started over. Marcus deleted everything if I remember correctly.

I don't remember. I think (?) we did start over on post counts here on American? Maybe?

Since I only visited once in a blue moon when in Florida I remember coming back somewhere and all posts being gone and all users were "new".  I think Marcus did delete EUS when it "went down" but this was more of a situation where the board was not going away, everything was just lost.   User accounts/passwords survived, just a data loss.

yep Randy took it over and I did have the same username. Good old memories. I will always remember Marcus having issue after issue keeping EUS up and running especially during snowstorms. LOL.

2-parter.

yeah, saw that.  Hate to disco IF's, but.....

IF that backside dives in a little sooner, the word boom (and taint for us SE'rs) comes to mind, but as its shown, it's not an unreasoble IF to consider.

Tuck too.  I am having a hard time fully understanding what is fully behind the streaming moisture from the gulf prior to any phase.

I just wanted to add that I have no earthly idea what any of you are talking about with regard to the history of this board haha.  However, maybe 10-15 years ago I did lurk on a couple of other weather boards, which sadly I cannot remember the names of.  One in particular was geared towards central PA and had a few loyal posters, one of whom I remember because he was like the top dog and went by the handle UndertakersSon.  The board called him UTS.  Does this ring a bell to anyone??  Just start naming some old PA weather boards and maybe one will ring a bell for me.  If not, I will crawl back into my hole and speak of none of this ever again ha.

When EUS went down things did not "go down" well between the crews so I think that if I am right about a board losing its data, it is this one and not EUS.  I had to create a new user name here.

yeah you are probably right there as def.initely conflict going on. I do remember that
