You and I are entering a lull now it looks like.

Include me in your lull group...lol.  It went from very heavy to nothing in just a few minutes.  Looking at radar it looks like I am on the very southern tip of the east-west line that it is moving in.  Looks like I might catch a bit more in about 30 minutes for a little bit.  But then, that might be it?  I definitely do not have as much as Thursday morning (yet).  Looking like between 0.5" and 0.7".  I will melt it down later before midnight and see what the total liquid comes out with.  Temperature dropped to 27.7 and now is 27.9.  Dew point is 25 and there is a more steady breeze now out of the southeast at 5-10 mph.

Plenty more on the way as the radar fills back in after a brief lull.

I must live in an archaic area. I don't think I've ever once seen a plow on my road for anything under and maybe even including 3". LOL

The other day they were plowing the sleet on Etown rd just before the mt joy police dept building. No joke

This is what the models have predicted for the the storm, minus a few random RGEM runs that has 1” snow to start.

no models showed a low form the south west moving precip to the north east to due east the time was off as well.

I don’t believe you - if you live by the airport. They’ve reported sleet or zr for 2 hours straight.

Honestly, not only is it sleeting incredibly hard, but some of the pellets are so big they sound like hail stones and not sleet.

You can see the size in the hits on the hood of my Jeep in this still grab from a video I took.

I'm 14.8 miles SE of the airport and I had an incredible batch of heavy sleet earlier. And others SE of me got in on it as well.

.

We weee in NYC during that 2nd stork in February 2010 storm. We went to dinner at Craft on 19th St and sat and watched it just pile up. We then walked up the middle of 6th avenue to our hotel at Bryant Park. One of my fav memories.
