Pixie dust snow has been falling on and off for the past several hours. It was enough to dust the mulch, grill cover, and some tree branches. The intensity has picked up noticeably in the past 15 minutes to the heaviest rates it's been so far. Still considered "light" with fine flakes, it's hard enough to begin whitening up the aforementioned areas again. I think the most significant thing about the snow today is that it has only been 5 days since the last event. Not cold at all but not a torch for highs. Lot of MR and LR lows in the 40's (all day in the 40's, thank you marine layer). The temperature has varied between 31.8 and 32.2. It's 32.0 right now. There's been some light melting on my board so it's difficult to be totally certain of the measurement. However, my best estimate is between 0.2" and 0.3". It's been accumulating primarily on the grass and trees, especially evergreens. Not even the mulch is white. Last year the breaker was shorting the locals here to a ton when they came to the breaker. But when those big trucks came in to get coal, there was no limit for them!
