Everything is on the table with this one, from pre-Christmas Grinch warm rainer, to direct snow hit for us, to coastal scraper. It should be an entertaining week on here watching it all develop. Better than 3 days ago when it only looked like maybe Bradford was in the game… Not saying we will necessarily score, but at least it something to track that seems to be improving as we get closer.

Sorry, I forgot. next time just say you want the drought map. The 'Ville (millers) still banging a D2. Drought cancelling schools now. Northeast Drought Summary Most of the Northeast this week had temperatures within 5 degrees of normal, mostly on the colder side. Northeast Maine and West Virginia finished the week 5-10 degrees colder than normal. Downwind of Lake Erie, more heavy snow fell during the last week, which combined with previous snows led to the removal of abnormal dryness in Pennsylvania’s Erie County and southwest New York. In these areas, the recent snowfall led to improvements in groundwater and streamflow. Due to lessening precipitation deficits, moderate drought was slightly reduced in coverage in south-central New York, where around or just over an inch of precipitation fell. Elsewhere across the region, severe and extreme short- and long-term drought continued across southern New England. The lack of snowfall has disrupted ski resort operations in parts of Vermont, while a water system failure amid very low water supply in Whitehall, New York, led to a school cancellation and the shutting off of water in the village. Blizzard of 93
With the recent rain, MDT now has only a .60 deficit for the year to date precipitation. ChescoWx
This morning's low here in East Nantmeal of 21.1 degrees was our coldest reading since the 18.5 degree reading back on February 25th. Our below normal temperature wise December looks to continue through the weekend with temperatures tonight here in East Nantmeal possibly reaching the teens for the first time this season. By Monday we start to warm up and see our rain chances increase through mid-week. We turn chillier again by Wednesday.
