It definitely would take a physical toll on the body, and it would be mentally challenging as well too. Hear lots of people talking about the souther boys needing to play in cold so the weather will be important. Best LR thoughts right now are not so cold but not a torch either. I know when I was in school we played a pick up games after school in the snow and it was fun. tackling and all. This right here is why I think a Big 10 or SEC always now wins the championship. Because depth. See, I'm of the opposite mind, that artificial turf, despite its advances, is still far more dangerous and causes more injuries than anything that can be brought about by natural conditions. On Saturday I went to see Indiana vs Kansas in college hoops - nearly 47,000 on hand in what was just an amazing atmosphere. Roy Williams and Danny Manning vs the General Robert Montgomery Knight and Damon Bailey. Probably a top 5 all-time sporting event I've attended...and I've been to a whole lot. Next day watched the Colts and Dolphins in the Dome. Probably one of the worst 5 events I've attended. Football in the dome was awful. It did not feel right at all. Place was packed but it was just lacking in every area. First, and what will be the last indoor football game I will attend. Just no. I get what Bubbler is saying regarding injuries, definitely respect that thought.
