6z GFS shows it too.

Hope we can score a little backend lovin, cause if ENS and telles are correct, a zonalish flow that floods conus w/ pacific air looks like it will be taking over for the foreseeable future.  Hoping we can change that before Santa gets here.

Yep, these Canderson winds suck!

They do have bite to them.  Was surprised when I went out to get wood at 5am at how gusty it still was.  Cams look like a winter wonderland for norther/westers.  Tug looks good for Snodeo weekend as well (well its usually this weekend anyway).

Low of 27 here.  Max gusts yesterday at MDT, LNS, and THV were 48, 49, and 45, respectively.  For how great things have been across northwestern PA, northeastern PA hasn't been too shabby either.  Check out this beautiful shot from the web cam at Elk Mountain ski area.  Elk is such an underrated spot.

Today will be our 10th straight below normal temperature day and the coldest day so far this young winter season. We start a nice moderating trend with temperatures rising to above normal levels by Sunday afternoon with high temperatures well into the 40's to near 50. Rain chances increase Monday night through Wednesday before possibly ending as a little snow on Wednesday night as we turn colder again.

Going to FTIG for a funeral at 1230. I imagine the winds whipping off the mountain out there will be brutal. Hoping they die down.

Sorry to hear this.  NAM/HRRR both suggest that they should lessen as we approach noonish, but I'd bundle up for it nontheless.

Thinking of you and your yours.

Little interesting the snow hasn’t accumulated better to be honest. I’ve seen us get an inch of snow here with less “falling snow.” It’s been going decently since before 7am with some good periods in there, and only 27. Yet it sticks then melts off sticks a little and rinse/repeat. Ground has been cold and it’s early AM?

This has been a constant for us over here.  We should have roads covered at this point (just slowed down though).    The sun does its work any time of the year.

It pretty sad when you try to treat everyone with kindness and respect, especially coworkers and so called friends, and all you get is pretty much picked on and shit on.

Not sure what happened, but since I returned from Arizona, life's been pretty much a living hell at times.

Sorry for the venting, but today's misadventures took the cake and I'm extremely frustrated.

Working in HR, and specifically with developing/helping people grow, I see this every day.

A few years ago, I was teaching a class and was talking about integrity. I said, what's really telling about a person isn't what is said to them...it's what people say when the person isn't in the room. I went on to say that I hoped that if I walked out of the room that we were in, and someone asked the class what they thought of me, they would speak highly of me. That matters to me. Almost immediately, someone in the front row interrupts and says "I don't give a f*** what you (me) or anyone else thinks of me."

That really shook me. And since then, I've had others share essentially the same thing.

I don't get it. How/why did we get to the point where people just don't legit care about others, and further, don't care what others think about themselves.

To me...it's sad.

It really is sad. In my case the co workers in question freely admit that they are assholes. It's almost like a badge of honor to them. I don't get it. I wasn't raised to be that kind of person.

I just sent the snarkiest email I’ve ever sent to a coworker for her failure to follow through on explicit email instructions. No matter the industry, these people are the worst.
