Superstorm Posted December 2 Share Posted December 2 My trip to Watertown did not disappoint. “Only” ended up with 37.5” but that is most snow I have seen in one storm. A coating of #snow is possible on grassy surfaces, especially N/W of Route 15/I-81. Temps will drop behind the front.. 2/2 .. but roadways shouldn't turn icy due to temps >32°F ahead of the boundary & partial sunshine behind it. Oh, I was unaware they had issued squall warnings for the region. I didn't see those but I'm sure they were the updated NWS style. Take a look at that delta between the average temperature during that warm recent December of 2015 vs. the record cold December back in 1989. Only a 27 degree average temperature difference!
