midatlanticweather Posted December 5 Share Posted December 5 Went for a walk around 7am in mixed rain and snow. Temps were well above freezing. The path around the pond had icy spots and I took a spill. Ice was unnoticeable so I bit it hard.. Bruised knee and twisted back will tell me how bad things are soon. Anyways, it was not bad at all. Steady light non-accumulating snow this morning. Overcast now but has been some off and on peaks of sun. Measured 3” altho NWS reports 5” four miles east of Grantsville. The Canaan Heights station almost always gets half again as much snow as I do (I get 4, he gets 6. I get 10, he gets 15 etc) and seeing the 10 inch report this morning shocked me.
