He's gone. Os signed O'Neil to take his place

I'm pretty discouraged as an Os fan.

The current projected rotation is not a playoff team caliber rotation.

Burnes is good as gone.

I'm guessing we end up with Jack Flaherty lol

The Orioles ownership needs to be willing to spend if they want to be competitive in the division over the coming years. Yankees, Red Sox, and even the Blue Jays go after big time players. Bargain basement additions won't cut it.

Buffalo Sabres at Caps tonight. Dont really follow the Caps much, but I thought the odds were strange on the sports books. With Buff dropping 8 straight and the Caps having one of the best NHL records you would think they would be huge favorites. ML looks too easy (-175) to take the Caps. So, are they notorious for playing down to the level of the other team or something? Are the Caps dealing with a boatload of injuries? What gives?

We know there is a faction that vehemently disagrees that there is anything more than bad luck or cyclical variance going on with snowfall. So let me amicably pose a question. What if we do get a 3rd snowless winter in the last 6 years.  Something that would be unprecedented on a crazy level. Would that change your minds at all?  If not what would it take?  What if 4 of the next 5 winters are below avg snow?  9 of the next 10?  10 more in a row? At what point might you change your mind?

I don’t think most disagree. Most just don’t want/need constant reminders about the causes. You’ve brought this up many times in recent winters, so it’s no secret where you stand. I think we can all respect your position without needing to be reminded of it all winter long. And that’s not to single YOU out, but since you posed the question…..

I’m holding out hope that they’ll get someone that resembles a number 1 arm. At a minimum they need someone of similar quality to Burnes to help solidify the rotation. Will be disheartening heading into the season if they don’t.

You’re not who this was directed at. There is another group who simply doesn’t like to hear about it a lot because it’s depressing. That group I totally get. I understand coping. I’m just not that way. I’m more a face things directly and fully person. Immersing in it is my cope. But everyone copes differently.

This was directed at the group, and yes they are real, who have made it clear they think our snowfall woes are just a fluke or cyclical. I’m not even saying here they are wrong. They know my stance. Yes I think they are wrong. But all I’m asking of that cohort is, how much more evidence would it take for them to change their mind. I’m legitimately curious.

Love ya man but snowfan is right....you NUKE us with constant reminders of why you think things are the way they are. Mama always told me to appreciate honest feedback and mine is you've gone from a great poster to nearly unreadable. I mean no disrespect towards you, just giving my opinion having been on these boards for 25 years.

Who knows what true and what's not but rumors are out there that ownership has given the green light to spend but Elias has chosen not too. He wants to be the smartest person in the room and build a championship roster through drafting and development . apparently Rubinstein has given Elias close to 100% deference in what he wants to do with Rubinstein Being very new at sports ownership.

I'm on the team of understanding the elephant in the room and your knowledge has helped with that. But your coping mechanism has morphed into a misery loves company sort of thing and disruptive of the group. Maybe some folks are coping with seasonal depression by coming here to track hope for something they love. Respect and coping is a 2 two-way road.

There are people who legitimately believe the earth is flat.  There is literally no amount of evidence that will convince everyone of anything.

The great problem is that I tell the truth and it is not politically correct for you to receive the truth.   What are you afraid of??????

It is a shame that you cannot be honest with your creation and throw politics out the window.

You are a progressive degenerative!   Progressive HACK! , HACK!

Can’t tell if you’re trolling or not honestly. Regardless, you should delete your last two posts.

Today, I gave the lawn the annual last cut of the season at 2 inches. Ready for the inevitable snow to sit nicely on the perfectly groomed grass!! Going to settle in with a nice 3 finger pour. Happy tracking this winter!!

Based on today's conversation I'm not putting my lawn mower away
