CFS gives us a snow storm while coastal areas get a Sleetfest so there is a glimmer of hope

Highly recommend just ignoring the CFS when forecasting storms.

In addition to its resolution issues with synoptic events, there is one notorious “met” who uses it frequently on Twitter. Betting against his constant “cold and snow” calls would be more profitable than betting against Jim Cramer’s stock picks

TBH, I won't mind it ending up all wet, as I know its only going be a nuisance and I don't need another hour stacked onto my already arduous commute. Not enough to take the day off-

I get it, but I would also kill for an inch. That won't happen, but at least you have a better shot of a festive look.

That's all i want. I don't need a KU..just that refreshing and soothing look of the landscape covered and white. But apparently that's too much to ask I guess.

That is who I thought of...did you see he called called out for presenting an Accuwx product as the "Mark Model"?

Yep Margavage. His “white thanksgiving” model was laughable. Ripped the accuweather product verbatim and modified the colorbar labels.

I didn't see that, but he's not even a met. He is a tool. As Mazz would say...100% Grade A Craftsman tool chest. LOL.

Yet he is making a living off of pretending to be a met, so has guys like me beat

You pretty much forecast like a seasoned met. That's a compliment to your attn to detail. He is garbage and just gives the community a bad name.

Thanks, but point is he is probably making a good living off of doing that crap. Says something about contemporary society lol

Must be my lack of perspective...seems like a lot to me, but must require millions.

"With 9,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter), an influencer would likely be considered a "nano-influencer" and could expect to earn between $10 to $100 per sponsored post depending on their engagement rate and niche, with the lower end being more common for someone with such a small following"

As per Google AI

NAM is pretty dam close for you at 09z.

Yeah I’m hoping being near 495 with several hundred feet might help at the end. I’ll still be surprised if I get more than an inch. Won’t be surprised if it’s less.

Could actually be some pretty good squalls in the late morning to early afternoon too. It’s really unstable so while the focus is on the synoptic stuff, there’s a great thermal profile for big snow squalls.

As is, still about 8,990 to many IMO....wouldn't expect more than his folks, wife, kids and the family goldfish.
