winterwx21
13 minutes ago, Stormlover74 said: Nice squall Cool to see a legit snow squall here. Coming down moderately to heavily with a dusting on colder surfaces. Too bad it wasn't just a little bit colder ... we could've gotten a quick half inch to inch out of this. Still nice to see the snow and a dusting though. At least we can say we got a little white on the ground out of this cold pattern in early December.

Dark Star
Snow shower in the Tremley Point section of Linden, NJ. Some pinging, so I assume either sleet or graupel is mixed in (although somebody on this Board called for a mix of snow and hail?

Picard
0.75" in Sparta. School on a delayed opening. Once in school, all the kids phones buzzed for a snow squall warning. We had about 5 minutes of heavier snow, which re-coated the ground. Now the sun is out. 1
Cfa
Sun’s out near ISP, for now, hopefully this squall doesn’t die out like every thunderstorm does here.

More just like a light (to at best moderate) snow shower. Nothing stuck or accumulated.

eduggs
12z ICON looks pretty interesting for the 12th. GFS a little less so, but still highly trackable. I'd like to see the thermal boundary get pushed southeast Sat - Mon so we at least have a chance at wintry if a shortwave can round the longwave trof and iniatiate a southeast low and eventual coastal SLP. The ICON at least is almost there.

RU848789
Squall was fun, if short-lived. It put down another 1/8" of snow, so we're up to 1/4" for the winter after last night's 1/8", lol. Threw my first snowball of the season. Another 240 of these and we'll get to ~30" of snow for the winter...
