SO FAR THIS MORNING, THE TEMPERATURE AT MOUNT POCONO PA HAS FALLEN 
TO 7 DEGREES BELOW ZERO. THIS BREAKS THE RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE OF 6 
DEGREES BELOW ZERO SET IN 1989. THIS REPORT WILL BE UPDATED LATER 
TODAY WITH THE FINAL LOW TEMPERATURE.

There's temps colder than that in Orange County. I assume that's the temp at your house, I am also at -3 but not sure if that will be the low yet or not. It's -4 at KMGJ and the Warwick Mesonet is -6 currently.

EPS not as bad but not great either. Could be a delayed, not denied situation. 

I still expect at least a period of favorable conditions in January, probably in the Jan 5-15 window.

January is gonna be fine. This is a nice middle of the road winter with up and down temperatures and 20 plus inches of snow.
