It’s just nice to have something that is incrementally getting better looking as it gets closer. Last year was just the opposite almost every time.

The last few years fell on its face as we got closer.

Might get my first accumulation of the season here.   But expecting 95% rain

Prob starts as a bit of snow there before flipping. Might end as a few flakes too.

Ha...I've been watching this trend from mood flakes to something that might actually make the weekend more than just a death ribbon.  Not far from being in the game up here and I bet the flow keeps it snowy most of the weekend into next week for us.  3-6 would be a game changer for opening weekend conditions.

Is this a Steiner pike south?

I'm guessing they added some areas to the watch.

Looks like the Euro will end up being the winner.  Snuffed out a stronger storm well before GFS came on board.  My neighbors up here on my hill better get those turkeys cooked fast.  Looks like quite the birch bender for me.  This kind of SWFE/Nor'easters  give me the biggest snow as the low isn't so strong that it down slopes me off the Whites.  I will post obs tomorrow. Snow stake is in and ready to go!  Happy Thanksgiving to all

Your obs to MarkO will be interesting. It's possible the best goods may be just to the north, but I think you guys are in a good spot. Same with some of the fellow VT peeps at a similar latitude or just WSW. Maybe even PF?

BTV bumped my area up to a Winter Storm Warning.  Added advisories further north.

Speaking of ski areas, was planning to ski Watervillle, but got word they were only going to have two lifts open up top and downloading on the 6-seat Tecumseh Express. I told one of the employees if they end up with a foot of snow, you can expect skiers to be ducking ropes and skiing to the bottom.
